Really happy with the whole experience from start to finish.

Ross was great during the sales process and took the time to explain everything properly without any pressure. Kate was also fantastic with the admin side of things — always helpful, responsive and kept everything organised.

Big shout out to Hasan and the boys for the installation. They did an awesome job, were professional, friendly and clearly knew what they were doing. The panels and battery were installed neatly and everything was explained to me once the job was completed.

It’s not often you come across a company where everyone you deal with is genuinely helpful and easy to deal with. Hassan and the team definitely made the whole process easy.

I thoroughly recommend Hasan and the team (I cannot praise them highly enough).  After getting about 4 different quotes from other providers, I decided to go with Tech Solar Battery who not only beat every other quote by a huge margin, they also allowed me to place panels on my house and my shed which other providers said was too hard. The whole process, from my initial call seeking a quote, to everything installed and ready to be switched on took less than 10 days. I even had an EV charger installed at the last minute.

They called me and explained that Hasan had been unwell during the week when I didn’t receive any communication or follow-up. I’m updating my rating up to 4 stars and giving the benefit of the doubt. Hoping customer care gets better.

I’m updating my review because the post-installation customer care has been disappointing, and it has brought my rating down to 2 stars.

I raised an installation-related issue several times directly with Hasan, but my messages were ignored. I was told we would chat the following Monday, yet a week passed without any contact. That was enough to make me feel that once the installation was complete, customer support was no longer a priority, and customer is not valued. Customer care, installation warranty, virtually non-existent.

The issue involved the LED side strip lights on a newly installed Sigenergy battery stack, which were not functioning correctly. Because I’m quite familiar with this technology, I did my own research and eventually worked directly with Sigenergy to have the system re-initialized. That resolved the problem. Even Sigenergy initially did not know the cause or the solution. In the end, the problem was traced back to the installation not being initialized correctly, confirming that it was an installation-related issue.

I entrusted this company with a significant investment, partly because I believed they would provide better after-sales support than many of their competitors. Unfortunately, my first experience seeking help for an installation-related problem did not justify the premium price I paid.

If this was the experience I had with a relatively minor issue, I can only imagine how much worse it could be if a major problem ever arose.

These are an exceptionally competent and efficient team led by Hasan. I couldn’t be happier with the entire process and the quality of the installation.

As someone who is technically minded and has very high standards, I can confidently say Hasan and his team are top-notch.

From the very beginning — system design through to quoting — Ross did an excellent job. He patiently accommodated my specific technical requirements and was genuinely focused on achieving the best outcome for customer satisfaction. For example, he persistently worked to source me premium-tier panels beyond what was originally quoted, which I was extremely happy with.

Hasan has deep technical expertise, which was obvious from the way he handled every technical questions I threw at him. His workmanship is excellent across the board — from the 3-phase switchboard upgrades to the cabling and integration between the switchboards, gateway, inverter, and battery stack. He went far and beyond upgrading my switchboard than what was originally quoted — to impress me. He was also very thoughtful in concealing cables wherever possible, resulting in a much cleaner installation. It’s rare to find someone who takes such pride in their work.

The same goes for the rest of the team who installed the solar panels. They were professional, careful, and respectful throughout the installation process.

Kudos to the A-team. Great communications and on-time. I wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again or recommend them to others.

We just had a 48kWh Sigenergy battery system installed by Tech Solar Battery Gisborne.
We can’t speak highly enough about Hasan and his crew, from the initial contact everything just ran beautifully, communication was excellent, the whole process was very quick & efficient.
The install was faultless, the crew were very professional, leaving everything spotless.
The after install customer-care has been brilliant, Hasan has guided us through the whole process, answering all of our questions (and there has been a lot) even after hours.

Our roof shape is very steep but wanst a problem for his crew who where all friendly and worked late on a Friday to complete the job.
